Dr. Bertot’s path as an outstanding Orlando pediatric dentist began when he received the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Senior Award during his senior year at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He went on to complete his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr. Carlos A. Bertot has been in private practice in Maitland since 1994, and he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1996. He is also a member of a local Cleft Palate and Craniofacial team that treats children with facial deformities and their distinctive dental needs. Dr. Kelly C. Mansour received her dental degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, where she was awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award for great promise in the field. She completed her pediatric dental training in 2010, before joining our Maitland practice as an Orlando pediatric dentist. Dr. Mansour, too, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mansour is currently affiliated with Florida Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Smith gained his Masters Degree in Orthodontics (M.S.D.) from the University of Washington, and his graduate work in implantology gained him the coveted Milo Hellman International Research Award. Prior to that, Dr. Smith gained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Emory University in 1975. Graduating first in his dental class earned him the distinguished Alpha Omega Scholastic Award and membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Scholastic Society. Dr. John Smith is an outstanding orthodontist, who along with five other noted orthodontists, helped pioneer the development of invisible braces.
